I’ve just sent you a response.

To answer your question, I do practice Zen Meditation techniques but I’m not a Buddhist.

I recommend reading “Idiot’s Guide to Zen Living”.

Yeah, it basically means discovering the truth and seeing things for what they are. The goal of a Buddhist is to achieve becoming a Buddha.

Buddha means Enlightened One or Awakened One. I myself misunderstood it as a god. I like the teaching of buddhism like the path is not in the sky it’s in our heart

Papa Travis, there has been a lot of theories that Jesus became a Buddhist monk 😉

    Thanks for checking it out.
I thought about asking them that, but I figured the obvious reason would be that they have to let go of vanity.

I visited a temple in another video that I thought was Buddhist but one of the nuns that saw the video said it was Taoist.

Thanks for sharing, it is really interesting to know Buddhist nuns. But If I were you, I’d ask why they shave their head (well,I already know the answer but just for confirmation I would ask anyway).
Also if I were a nun/monk in far-east. I might choose to be taosist nun/monk. I really like my hair. 😛

I think there are a lot of similarities with Catholicism and Buddhism.

I think people should explore others religion. It’s really something so interesting & surprising. I’m a Catholic and I’ve been in a Mormon mass, I really liked it. And now your video about Zen Buddhism makes me want to attend their temple. It looks so peaceful. Thank you. Hopefully this will finally have a lot of hits. Just keep uploading such interesting videos. Someday you’ll be recognized by many.

Thanks, I think it is interesting but for whatever reason, not a lot of people are watching this one.

I always appreciate that you watch and comment on every one of my videos though.

I know of him. He is also from North Dakota and of the same age. I went to Eastern Michigan University on wrestling scholarship.

Modesty aside, I would say I was a lot more well known than him even before I was working in entertainment. He is from a very small town and played high school ball in a small division. I was a 3 time state wrestling champion and once ranked #1 in the country.

Very happy you are enjoying my videos, Tim. This is what I love doing now. I appreciate your support.
